Mr. Gupta is a Metallurgical Engineer and an MBA in marketing with over 40 years of experience in the steel and ceramic industries.

    A media professional with a passion for weaving words, Suparna is regarded as a pioneer in modern business journalism in Bengali. An eloquent and proficient writer in both English and Bengali he is known for his astute and incisive analysis of government and corporate policies.
    A first-class post graduate in Economics from Calcutta University Suparna carries an experience of more than three and a half decade in ABP Group of Publications (owner of The Telegraph and Anandabazar Patrika among others) as a senior editor and editorial board member. He is known for his ability to craft brands around concepts that most would rather not touch as a business proposition and make them sustainable with sheer skill of appropriate content planning.
    Known also as a skill inculcator and for deft handling of diverse talent while leading a big team of journalists, he has deep understanding of strategies and their implications. He carries this skill as a visiting faculty to academic/training institutes in India and abroad. An orator of repute he is much in demand among the national level chambers of commerce. He believes that all challenges are addressable if they are taken as learning experience.
    He is also actively engaged in extending his skill and network to help bring the underprivileged into the mainstream.

  • Mr. Samiran Gupta

    Mr. Samiran Gupta has over three decades' experience, much of which has been spent in the tech space. Starting his career in the United States of America at the start of the Internet era, he moved back to India in 1992 to help launch India's first newspaper - The Asian Age - that used Internet technologies for simultaneously publishing multiple editions. Since then, he has consulted to or worked with companies including Reliance Industries, APCO Worldwide, ICANN and Twitter.
